error trying to use "Application.WorksheetFunction.Sum(CountIfs"....in vba

Hi,

I have enclosed a file that may help.

I can use the following type function on the excel sheet

=sum(countifs(.................))

however, when i try to do the same thing via excel vba i get a compile error.

see enclosed file for more details.

is this even the best way to do this?

i think i figured it out.......i am enclosing the file.


but i also wanted to know is this the best way to do this calculation via vba or is there another way via vba that is better
