Command Buttons - "Method or data member not found"

    Hello everyone,

I have a fairly large Workbook that has been going very well for about a year. No problem.
Now, when I open the same WB, all of a sudden VB tells me "Method or data member not found" and hihglihts one CommandButton after the other on all sheets containing CommandButtons!

Bump! ? Is there anything that needs to be cleared which the system is recording with CommandButton actions somewhere else?

Sorry Romperstomper, AndrewR and you other gurus. I've seen that you guys dont like long posts.

Re: Command Buttons - "Method or data member not found"

The CommandButtons have all mysteriously lost their controls and have been turned into "Pictures" with the Original CommandButton # as the "Name" of the "Picture" !!!

Come now Microsoft, how does THIS HAPPEN ???

I can't understand why, but for future use Forms controls are more reliable
    Hope that helps.

    Thank you RoyUK,

I have come to realise that, and I am now trying to figure out how to get a ListBox with multiple options or Radio Buttons to interact with respective sheets via a Userform.

Nice to have heard from you again!

I didn't actually mean on a UserForm but from the Forms menu, or non-ActiveX.

Using a ListBox or Option buttons would depend on what you want to do

Edit: have a look at this SheetsToHide.zip

Re: Command Buttons - "Method or data member not found"

The WorkBook as downloaded offers a good beginning. they have, however made a mistake in their module reference "-Print" instaed of "-Hide". But yes, it helps!

    Thank you Roy

Not sure what you mean, it's just an example. I use it for printing selected sheets. this one was adapted for someone just to hide sheets
