auto enter help

Hi Guy

I have built a spreadsheet that allows me to enter a barcode into a cell and it then fetches data using vlookup to add a description cell and a price cell

Is there any way I can make the cell auto enter or move down to the next cell after the code is enter once I've scanned my barcode

This would save me having to press enter after every scan I do

You can grab and pull down cell with your formula or mark right bottom corner of cell with formula and click 2 times (small black cross should appear)

What does your scanner do with the information, I guess it probably uses it's own software. There may be a code solution if the scanner software can put the barcode information in the clipboard.
