    Auto Commenting

    Hi,

I have a list of criteria for a list of comments basically boils down to this

if the criteria on the 2nd and 3rd col are met, the comment will be that found on 1st col.

    C Book B NT

    Not in A B T

    Other C S

    Not at B C T

I want to be able to auto update these comments for sheets that start with the name BCD. In my attached spreadsheet, I have the raw sheets and the BCD sheets which are the end product, would appreciate whoever can help me thanks.

    Re: Auto Commenting

For autoupdating, I would be using a formula in column A that references a table where you do your "comments". Edit them in the table and they update themselves on the sheets with the formulas.

I've added a LISTS sheet to your workbook to hold this lookup table. The cool thing about this method is the LISTS sheet doesn't have to be visible, you can hide it in this workbook, or you can even move the sheet to another workbook entirely, it will continue to feed "comments" back to this workbook.

    Hi,

I can understand your solution and I believe it works well, however, I wish to have VBA that loops through the worksheets that begins with BCD because my actual need is to run this loop through several sheets within a workbook. Thanks
