Can a range name be assigned to a formula?

I was wondering if a complex formula can be assigned a range name and if so how is this done? Thanks in advance.

Re: Can a range name be assigned to a formula?

In the Formulas Tab click Define a Name.

Give it a name say Tax

    Refers to = 0.20

    Click OK

    In any cell type =100*Tax

You can adapt this for your formula
    Hope that helps.
