comparison between two tables

dear all,

i have a task as per attached , where i need to compare any data match between table 1 and table 2,

table 1 is the actual data from the ID card machine
table 2 is the work sheet for workers at each gate

so is it possble to have a formula in A so that

if B and C has any match as in E,F,G,H,I and J

then copy cell K into A

so in this case i should be able to find from which gate a person entered.

Your data must be uniform i.e. Table 1 "worker ID" is a mixture of text and numbers, these must all be numbers if we are to lookup Table 2 Columns E:I

Given you are using 2007 or above, this array formula in A3
