Yes, I know that there are various Excel Reader which we can use to read Excel Files without opening it. However, I am a kind of confused if those tools/APIs provide options to read the OLE Links available in the spreadsheet.

For example, in Excel, I can read the External Links in a workbook, but does any of the Excel reader provide an option to read all the links available in a workbook without opening it?

Also, can I really read the content/code of VBA modules present in a workbook without opening it.

And none the less, I am talking about Office 2003. I can read anything in Open XML, but reading in binary is a little tedious and I am out of luck. Any suggestions?
