is there any way to stop excel from storing links as relative when the document is saved?
I do nto have access at the very root of the server and that produces an error when I click on any link. The links work perfectly until I save the file...

right now I remake the links with a shortcut, but wondering if there's a better approach to that

the microsoft website does not mention any workarounds even though it acknowledges that links may not work "as expected" in some sitiuations...
