open Excel with Macros active from windows schedule

    hi,

I'm trying to set up an auto-update file which runs a bunch of files with their update macros.
At best windows scheduler will open this file after I go back home, run the whole thing and shut down.

I managed almost everything, but on open, the dialog appears for the user to say if it wants to enable macros or not

possibly this must be so for security reasons, but I wanted to check just in case if there's any way to bypass this dialog

didn't find anything about that in the microsoft website

Two ways spring to mind. The first, not recommended, is to drop the security level to its minimum.

The second is to digitlly sign all the projects/workbooks.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately though, neither way proved successful. I guess only sendkeys or other dark-side methods will do...

not that bad. I can open the file automatically, just need to click on "enable macros" and even start the macro before heading home

I scheduled the shutdown, so is not that bad
