    Named Range not being accepted

I am trying to add in a named range. If I step through the macro, the named range gets added in. If I run the macro, it doesn't. The line is in the code below. I first had it in the "Filter1A" macro, which among other things puts in the data that the named range is going to refer to. It wasn't working there, so I've tried moving it around. I can't find the problem! Help!

Okay, now this is weird. If I change the name from "PertPacs2" to "NewPacs", it works fine. What is going on here?

    Hello jomili,

The code below worked for me. Perhaps you need to close Excel and restart it. If you have been doing a lot of coding and testing, Excel can become unstable. Generally, when strange things start to happen to my programs, I shut down and restart.

Thanks for the advice Leath. I've been trying to close out frequently, and I also run Code Cleaner a few times, but it still gets buggy on me. On this one, I did both, a few times, and nothing worked until I changed the name. But thanks for letting me know it's not just a matter of bad coding on my part.

    Hello jomili,

So, you are not receiving any error messages about the name?
