HI, I know Shared workbooks arent the way to go. However in this case I have been asked to work with what we have. I just need a bit of help finising some code for a workaround.
When the workbook is shared I cannot insert hyperlinks, however I can use the formula =HYPERLINK("url_goes_here", "cell_content_here" to to this.

I want to write a bit of code, to simply the end user experience so that when they double click on the cell, a msgbox asks if they want to insert a hyperlink, if they answer yes, it asks for the Path (in this case we are linking to internal files) and the next box for the cell content. Once the info is entered the code would then enter the formula ( with proper data) into the cell the user is currently in.

I cant seem to write code that will make this happen. If anyone Can help I would really appreciate it, and it should show a work around for this problem for others to use since I couldnt find one when i searched on here.
