    macro to extract info from columns and paste to new worksheet

    Hi guys,

    need to extract information from columns headed "catalogue number", "batteries required" and "battery type" from each of the worksheets on the attached, and paste onto new worksheet.

    can't seem to get macro to work

    can any of you help??

    hi,
    not all the sheets contains the "batteries required" and "battery type" fields
    what to do then?

    Hello fabrecass,

    The attached workbook has been modified. It contains an additional sheet "Summary". This sheet has a button added to it that runs the macro. The will retrieve the catalogue number, batteries required, and battery type for each sheet, except the Summary sheet.

    The only batteries not retrieved are the "Batteries Required 1". This is a special case that only appears on one sheet. One way to handle this would be to remove these 2 columns and combine them the others. A special notation could be used when necessary for these battery types.
