Macro - select external file and range within that file

Hi everyone,

This is what I'm trying to get my macro to do in an excel spreadsheet (in order).

1. Ask the user to select their chosen excel file
2. Upon number one happening the user is then asked to select the range within the file they have chosen

The next bit is that all my subsequent macros need to reference the range that the user has just picked but I'm not sure how to do this? Any help vastly appreciated
