    Can Excel Talk to Telnet?

    Hello all,
I would like for Excel to talk to Telnet. Is this even possible? I have found that I can open Telnet through a macro in Excel, but is it possible to feed it commands?
For example, I want to pull a report through Telnet and I can anticipate every piece of information it will ask for. I would like to write this into a macro where I can simply open Excel, push a button connected to a macro and the information is then sent through Telnet. After the report is run, I would like it to retreive it and put it into another worksheet.
Any help on this at all would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Hi Aldek - were you ever able to solve this. It seems that simple telnet from MS Excel remains a "mystery".
