Complex Macro/Problem Approach

I have an Excel 2003 spreadsheet I paste into each day. I would like to streamline the work process in order to save time. The actual data that needs to be interacted with begins on row 82, and ends on a different row each day.

In column A are links (individual records) that can be clicked and will bring up different web pages. In Column B are names. In Column D are different names, but occasionally the % symbol. In Column E are numbers (0 through 100).

I need to create a formula(s) or macro(s) (I am thinking the latter) that will do the following:

If the number in Column E is less than 100, access the link in Column A (Column A displays a number, but is hyperlinked so appears in blue font), search for two text strings "SSN" and "Comments:", and display the text between the end of the text search string and the next delimiter in Columns F (for "SSN") and G (for (Comments:")

Once that is completed, then check column D for % symbols and display a prompt to the user: "Is Name from Column B located in Location A or Location B?" and overwrite the contents of Column H with Location A or Location B depending on the user's Selection.

I know absolutely nothing of Macros, and have done all of my previous automating through the creative use of formulas.
