Simple MACRO to delete words not required in ROWS

    Hello Fellas.

I am no experienced Excel user nor am i a big VB coder.

I have an excel table of 3 million rows and increasing.
Its actually resumes of many jobseekers.

IN the table for 'Industry' column some jobseekers tend to put many industires instead of one to desperately get job fast so my rows are not up to date for me to do some mysql queries..

What i am trying to say is for example if a jobseeker is supposed to put 'Accounting/Finance' ( which is fine) but some people put 'Accounting/Finance/Administration/Auditing/Stock/Hotel/HelpDesk/Networking' and some put even more than that...

So basically i need the rows to be sorted...

is there a script or macro where if anything is more than 'Accounting/Finance' I can delete the extra words in it..? Since i like to select only the first one word or two words and delete their rest of the selections to make my life easy...

I have similiar things with another rows for the column 'Job Specialistaion'..

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance.
