Compare two versions of excel file with macros

The macro code on my excel file has suddenly started executing slowly.

I maintain versions, and I have the version that works fine and the one that runs slow.

Is there a tool/ way to compare the differences between two files - macro code, interface changes, etc.?

When you say, 'version' do you mean like a macro enabled workbook, a 2003 excel file, a 2010, etc? Or do you mean an old saved version versus a new saved version?

You can use this to compare the two document and go by the one with the latest "last save time", which would be the newest version. If you explained a bit more what you're exactly doing I could probably provide a more optimal solution.

I know WHICH version is later. I want to compare the code of two versions to get a list of changes between two versions.

How does this execute exactly...? You open a workbook, then it checks both files, or one of the workbooks opens, and then you want to compare it against the other? Again, more detail makes this much easier to accomplish.
