Question Create hyperlink to active woorkbook using macro

    Hello!

I want to create a hyperlink to the active workbook using macro. The pathway is constant, but the filename may however change.

    C:/Folder/Changeable name.xls

The reason that I want to create a pathway to the active workbook is that I have created an action button that exports data from cells to another workbook, and I'd like to have a hyperlink to the original file together with them.

If it is possible to specify a specific sheet in the workbook that will open when the hyperlink is clicked, I'd be thankful for this information as well!

    Thanks in advance

    Edit:

    Hello, me again!

I do not know if it possible to create my above request in a direct way, but I though it might be possible to do a workaround...
Is it possible to create a dummy cell containing the filename? (automaticly updating)
And from that cell create a hyperlink with the correct ending?

Dunno how to code that however.

Anyway, any solution is deeply apreciateed!
