finding and replacing characters at random position

hi

i have a column in which i want to read a particular character like ? and replace it with another characters +.character can be present multiple times and at different positions in every cell in that column.how to do that????

have you tried using Ctrl + H ?
If you need to replace characters used as wildcards ( * or ?) precede them with a ~
