    Removing Recorded Lines from Macros

Hi all, I have a recorded macros for doing an Excel web query. I was wondering if someone can help me with the fluff & stuff inside the macros. I know that when recording a macros, a lot of the commands are default so I thought I would ask for help on cleaning it up.

You can most likely remove all the web stuff, but to be honest it depends entirely on what bits are important to you (especially as we can't see if this is modifying an existing query or adding a new one). I think all of those are default so you could theoretically dump them other than the refresh line. I'd also recommend turning off the backgroundquery unless you have a particular need for it.

Thanks romperstomper, this is adding a new query by the way. I'll try to dump it all except for (like you said) the refresh line and see how it goes.

Wow, I'm surprised by how much quicker this code runs without all the fluff & stuff within it!
