Remove UserForm Borders and Close X

I am trying to remove the Borders and Close Box from a UserForm so I can use it as a splash Screen.

I have used the code suggested by Leith Ross

however, although this works, when the spreadsheet launches, the UserForm displays WITH the Border and Close box for about a second before then disappearing!

Is there any obvious reason why this would happen?


I am using Excel 2007/2010 under Windows 7.
