    Invoice number problem

just found a bug and not sure how to fix. This workbook is set up to advance the invoice +1 evert time you clear sheet and save changes. This is a master workbook, when I make a invoice from the master and save it to another name everything is ok. If I open the other name workbook it changes the invoice number to the current master number. Is it possible to have the saved other invoice number stay the same after you open it later. ' Thanks Z

    Re: Invoice number problem

Why all the empty modules? The only one with invoice number in that I can find has the invoice number hard coded as 7500, so every invice will have that number
    Hope that helps.

    Re: Invoice number problem

    Hello royUK
I need to do some clean up on the workbook. The code is in the userform clear sheet button. When you clear the sheet it adds +1 to the last invoice number, the problem I have is when I open the invoice at a later date it changes to the new master invoice number. Any ideas on a work around on this, I guess what I want is when I save a invoice the number never changes. Not sure if this is possible,Thanks for taking the time to look at my problem
