Macro Security set to Low - very dangerous, I'm sure that your IT department will not like that

There should be no reason why the 2007 code should not run in 2003, there are some differences but most will work
    Hope that helps.

Re: UserForms do not show in excel 2003

    hi Roy,
all night long i tried to find out the reason...well, i do not know excel, i like it, it makes my/our life easier than before. i created some files in 2007 helped by you, guys (Thank you!), and work like a charm, no any issue. but, i've never worked in 2003, that's why i am faced with too many "issues". it's my lack of knoledges. this is a true and i admit it!
so, it was very dificult for me to creat a new test file in 2003, and what did i see?!...it worked very well on that pc. and i recreate my userforms, added the same codes and it worked very well. i am sure a programmer could see and find fast a better way to solve it. i did what i thought at that moment, i took it step by step...! and coffee, and coffee! ))
yes, i set the security level to medium. i thought that "low" is a little bit dangerous.
this is my story...i learn or at least, i try to!
    thx for yr patience,
    john

You probably need to save the Excel 2007 as a Excel 2003 workbook

Re: UserForms do not show in excel 2003

    hello Roy,
I saved it before. once here on my pc as file1 and then there the original file as 2003 and then the second file, file1, saved as 2003, again with another name. the result was the same. i mean none of them did not work properly. then i had an ideea, i inserted a new userform and test it with a textbox adding a simple piece of code, when i saw it worked then I just "copy/paste" the code piece by piece. but...it's ok now!
next time i know how to proceed...

You shouldn't need to do that. Did you choose Save as -> Excel 97-2003 workbook(*.xls)?

Re: UserForms do not show in excel 2003

    yeap, here are the steps:
-saved my original file, here on my pc as 97-2003.xls, tried the file there and it did not work
-saved my original file tehre as 97-200.xls, it did not work also
-saved first file, 97-2003, again on that pc, it did not work...
well, i work on many computers with 2003 and the result was the same for all.
and as i told u, when i make a new uf it worked. it too much for me to understand the proccess...))), i continued with that solution, even i worked additionaly!
