Sort combobox items alphabetically

Hey..have a dynamic combo box which updates its list automatically..however i wanted to have the items arranged in an alphabetical order when the user sees the drop down list. I don't want the original entries to be disturbed as they are part of a excel database and the entries are in a chronological order. Any ideas how I can achieve this? Thanks.

Where is the combobox & how are you loading it?

It's in a user form i hv made for this purpose..there is a drop down list of id numbers..i want these to be shown alphabetically in the combobox
