    Conditional formatting

    Hi guys,

I have created (on advice from you guys :-)) a sheet that contains four columns. A, B, C and D.

In column A I have the overall status of the task, in column B the name of the person in charge, in column C I have the different sub-tasks (usually about 3-5) and in column D I have the status of the individual sub-tasks.
I have formated the sheet so that depending on the status of the task and sub-task the cells have different colors and font. When I change the status for the sub-task the color of the cells in C and D changes to match the status. This is fine.
But when I change the status in column A I have a problem.
I have made it so the that the sheet will "hide" status' in column A that are the same. But then if I change the status in one of the cells, I want ALL the cells for that task and person to change to the same.
    Do I make any sense?

I have attached a sheet with a draft of how my sheet is constructed and it should be clear what my problem is :-)

    Hope someone can help :-)
