How can I code a workbook to open on the 'Insert' menu instead of 'Home'?

I just want my workbook to open on a menu item other than 'Home'. Any suggestions?

Are you refering to the ribbon tabs in xl2007? your profile says you use xl2003

If xl2007 then use have to resort to SendKey in the workbook open event

You don't actually need SendKeys in 2007 as I discovered this morning - see Tony's demo file here. It's in Word (of course!) but easily transferrable.
