    Lightbulb Rename excel file sheets (macro)

    Dear All,

    Help me i need a macro that open all the excel file in the folder rename first sheet (any name )as Sheet1,Second Sheet (any name) as sheet 2 and so on....

    I mean all the excel file sheets name would be Sheet1,Sheet2 and so on....

    Hello farrukh,

    You will need to change the file path in the macro to the path where your files are stored. It is marked in bold type.

    This code assumes the workbooks have an "xls" ending (pre-2007). If you are using Excel 2007 or later, the macro will need some changes.

    Hello farrukh,

    You will need to change your User Settings to receive emails when threads are answered.
    1. At the top of the page, there is a navigation bar. Click User CP
    2. A new page will be displayed. On the left side will be a links to various settings and options. Under the section heading Settings & Options, find and click the link Edit Options.
    3. Look for the section heading Messaging and Notifications. Underneath is heading, you will find a group box Default Thread Subscription Mode.
    4. Inside the group box is a drop down list. Select Instant email notification.
    5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button Save Changes.

    Hello,

    I need macro to rename sheet. I save files in a folder each day with date suffixed to the file name. I need to open each file saved in the folder and rename the excel sheet as Activity_Log and save the workbook.

    Please someone help me out in getting the code. Thanks a lot
