I have a hidden sheet ("Customer list"). The customer list has several columns. but the 2 columns that are relevant are : B - Customer number and C - Customer Name.
I would like a user to click a button on the "Results" sheet that asks them to enter the search string. e.g. "what is the customer name like?".
The macro would then deposit on the "Results" sheet - a list of all codes and customers that are similar to the search string.
If there are no similar matches - then "No Results".
Please could somebody point me in the right direction.
I have Excel 2007.
