    Auto Web Data Import

I want to look up stats for MLB players. The website I go to is http://www.joelefkowitz.com/stats.php. Then I input the name of the player who's stats I want to look up in the "Batters" search box and click go. If I had a list running down a column like this:

    David Ortiz
    Kevin Youkilis
    Dustin Pedroia
    etc.
    etc.

...how to I make(or preferably edit a recorded macros) it so VBA will take a name and insert it in the search box within the web query and then grab the table(s) I want? And then it needs to go down the list and do the same for each name. This seems impossible and probably is for me. Any input is appreciated.

    Re: Auto Web Data Import

these guys are supposedly having separate pid nos.

for David. first two guys are
    http://www.joelefkowitz.com/batter_card.php?pid=120074

    http://www.joelefkowitz.com/batter_card.php?pid=425903

if you can find the pid nos. of these guys you can create a sheet like the one attched and click any cell in column C will take you to the webpage

    Re: Auto Web Data Import

Thank you for replying. Once I have that, how do I use it for auto importing from the web? In other words, how do I get a macros to go to data>from web and then use the website I have listed for individual players as the website to go to? Then how do I get it to automatically repeat the process for the next player, next, etc.
