Losing items in a Data Validation list

I have a baseball batting & fielding position form I developed a long time ago. For some reason there appears to be an error in the formulas now. When each player is added to the batting order card, their name is not available again in the drop downs. This is to make sure I don't put the player in the batting order more than once. Additionally, when I assign them a fielding position, that posistion disappears from the drop downs for that particular inning, again to make sure that no more than one player is assigned to a fielding position per inning.

The problem starts in cell F7 and goes across to cell I7 (only the top left card is filled out..the rest are equal to it). As you can see in this file, whatever fielding position is given to the 5th batter in the order during the first 2 innings is not available by the 3rd inning through the 6th. I've reviewed this several times and I cannot find the problem.

I've Unhid the values to the right of the batting/fielding cards to help clarify the problem.

    Please help.

Re: Can't Find the Error in formula

It looks like your data validation always refers to the named range INNINGS2...

It should change to INNINGS3, INNINGS4, etc as you go across the row, I believe.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
