Excel Document Library:When I customize the filename, I lose the path to the server

have VB that customizes the file name in Excel when saving.

However when I add this code, it wants to save the file to my local machine = I lose the sharepoint path/url to the doc library.

How can I populate this dynamically? (I don't want to hard code the path)

how is the code supposed to know where you want it saving if you don't hard code it?

Do you already have an existing file that you are overwriting? In that case you could grab the path of the existing file before you overwrite it perhaps?

Because if I remove the code for my custom filename, it the excel document will be saved to the proper location, in the SharePoint document library.

so do you have a file that you are overwriting? and if so, does the code I have posted work?
