    How to lock certain cells

    Hi,

I am trying to sum ROWs A and B to C. However, i want to lock cells A and B such that when you clear contents of the sheet, the formula for summing A and B will always be there. Is there a macro to lock row C?

By default all cells are locked. You need top select the cells that you want to be able to delete then from the Format Button of the Home Tab slect Format Cells & unlock them.

Next Protect the sheet, you will not then be able to delete the remaining Locked cells
    Hope that helps.
