select cells based on certain word result

Hi All I have some experience with macros but I am struggling with this one and can’t find the answer on the net on a few forums.

I have a worksheet with a group of individuals split into abilities (Bronze, Silver, Gold and so on, about 20 odd in each group) I want to run a macro that looks for all the Bronze (in column B) and then select the cells in that row but just the columns C, D&E (these have their surname, forename and DoB in them) I then need to copy this info into another sheet but think I have this covered.

Hope this makes sense, and hope it can be done.

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

Thanks for you response Dave.

I have attached 2 spread sheets, I want to create a macro to copy columns C, D, E&F to their relevant register tabs on the BBF_squad_register spreadsheet from the lessons spread sheet.

I am struggling with the bit of the macro that finds all the "Bronze" or "Silver" and then selects the columns/data required.

Hope this is clearer.
