Red face Splitting Names and calculating dates

I am attaching a speed sheet that I have filled in the first line on how I want it to look. without any formatting as I don't have an idea on how to do it. But I know what I want it to do. So what I want to have happen is I have a list of payroll names (first and last name in one cell) what I want it to do is move first name in a box and last name in a box. Not sure if that is on option. If not an option, is there an option if I already have them separate in each box to combine them into one cell. Then I have filled in there hire dates and I would like to have the cell's fill in for 90 days and 180 days. Please let me know if you have any questions as I don't always know how to word this correctly.

    Thanks

    Kathi

Use the "Text to Columns" feature (Under the Data ribbon in Excel 2007). This feature can take cells and split them into as many columns as you want. It may also be able to combine them. I'm only sure about the first part.

Ok I did get the name split but still need to have the dates calculate out 90 days and 180 days. Thanks for your help on that part!

Hi Judy. Sorry, I only read half your problem. For your 90 review column, the code is really simple. For Bill Smith's row, the hiring date is in Cell D3. In Cell E3, type "=$D3 + 90". Since the date is formatted the correct way in D3, E3 should display 5/18/2011 which is 90 days after 2/17/2011. For the 180 day review, type "=$D3 + 180" into cell F3. Apply that to the rest of the column for columns E and F and you should be golden
