    Macro to Summarise a Spreadsheet

Hi, I have limited experience of writing macros and need some information analysed and summarised on the same sheet. In the attached I need each row analysed. So row 2 the info is for WOKING (D:2). In columns I,J, there could be a number. If there is a number in cell I:2, I need this added to the summary field Cell F:52. If there is a number in cell J:2 I need this added to to the summary field F:51. I then need to go to the next row and carry out the same analysis. Each site has a reference in the summary field. Any data found within cells in columns I & J should be accumulated in the summary fields.

    Your help is appreciated.

    Hi Macca_GB

This can be done with formulas if that's sufficient. In cell F46, place this formulas
    =SUMIF($D2:$D41,"OAL",I2:I41)
Place a similar formula in the other summary cells, changing the column reference from I to J as appropriate and changing "OAL" to "WOKING", etc. as appropriate.
