hay,
i am tray to create user form for make bill format for super market example if enter in text box the item name etc. then add data in to excel sheet with excel formulas and if customer buy more then one item when enter another item name in to text box it's need to go with same bill number and when search with bill number it's need show all carrying with that bill number and we can print bill fromat paper, please some one help me, if give me another example to make bill of bunch items

thank you for the answer me, but i need the user form code to able to add data and search easy bu user form, suppose to supermarket bill customer buy more than one items and needs add that all items with same bill number by user form, if i enter bill number in to text box1 than press the commund botton its needs to show all items that contains the bill number. i have created my own excel templates, i wanna do by userform for easy to add and search all items with same bill number,

I believe you are looking for a full application using Excel. Perhaps some of our members will be willing to spend much more time than simply helping you with a simple formula or two.

I'm so sorry, but you didn't understand my answer. Without an example from you or a lot more information and exactly what you are starting with and what you want to arrive at, I can't help you. I suggest you find someone who can contract time to build what you are wanting.

Hi blk,

I added some sales to your table and 2 more salespeople. I created a list of products you sell and put the price to the right so it would be easier to fill in the individual sales. Study Sheet 1 for formulas that do this. You will also need to find Data Validation.

Then I created a few Pivot Tables for you, as you are going want to know how much each invoice was and how much you made at the end of a month or week. I also did a sample pivot to show this by salesperson.

On sheet 2 there is an Advanced Filter. You will put the customer/invoice number in cell A2 and press enter. All the correct transactions from sheet 1 will then appear on sheet 2. This is the one I expect you will want to pretty up and make an invoice from.

There is a lot here to study and learn, but this is the direction I would be going if I had a small market and was selling stuff. I'm old and no longer can work so I do this for fun instead.

thank you for assistance, that was very help for me, i created one sheet i attached that file please check that out, when i run advfilter it's showing error massage like " run-time error '1004': and method 'range' of ' object '-Global' failed and then if i click debug it's highleting the bellow code. please can you explaine about this VBA code of that file you were sent me.

It looks like you are getting close to doing this without our help.

The reason for the error is that I wrote the AdvFilter subroutine to work on the workbook I attached. It had a sheet named "SalesStuff". You don't have a sheet named this on your example so the code is lost. If you want to use my code you need to understand it enough to modify it to work with your sheet names. I gave it to you as an example of what you might do. It was never intended to work on any workbook, only one with the correct sheet name and criteria range. You will need to do a few Advanced Filters by had to understand the code I wrote also.

thank you for that, i got it now but when i enter bill number in to range A2 in sheet2 it's still not filtering it self, i attached that file, thank you for your helping i am near to complete this workbook.

Hi blk,
The problem is that the names of the columns must be spelled EXACTLY the same in the
Data and Criteria Ranges.
On sheet1 you have:

Bill no Item code per pic Qty Total excutive Date & Time

and on Sheet 2 you have:

bill no. item code per pic qty total excutive date and time

Make the cells A1 to G1 on Sheet2 the EXACT same as Sheet1 and it should work fine.
Better yet, copy cells A1:G1 from sheet1 and Paste them to A1 on sheet2.

It just likes someone tried to make the Sheet1 row 1 better looking. When they did this it no longer matched the row 1 on sheet 2.
