Hi,
I am getting a compiled error when trying to use the below code. It highlights "Payd", but not sure why? Any thoughts?

You need to double-up the internal quotes in VBA.
Thanks, that did get rid of the error, however when I try to use the above code on the below, I can't seem to get it to work.
MANDATORY. RIO CA#509513 EX DATE: 3/16/11,PAYDATE:3/23/11.PLEASE CONTACT QC GROUPS LABELS
But when I use it the same formula in excel it will work.
I am trying to get the output: "PAYDATE:3/23/11.PLEA" so I can they parse out the paydate in the next column with.![]()

The goal is to get just the paydate "3/23/2011" in a column by itself.
