Error on unprotecting worksheet

I require your help for a study project *** POC.
In brief, I am having a password protected file, the password for which I am reading from a text file. the password characters are briefly copied to sheet3, during the run time, and then cleared on closing the file.
FYI, the initial password is 1234567.

But since sheet3 is password protected, it is not able to write to this sheet and that's the error I am getting.
Place the text2.txt in the c:\ drive, and then open the excel file.

Pl help me out, since I am nearly finished doing this except for this error.

Why protect the workbook?
Could you not have the password verification in your code?
