Edit Links Change Location

Hi - Does anyone know how to change the location that is on the edit links dialog box. I am thinking thats why my automatic updates are not working. It says the location is S:\Jason but that is where my destination workbook is and not my source workbooks. My source workbooks are in S:\Production reports. I have a feeling that if I change the location from S:\Jason to S:\Production, it will auto-update my links.

Please advise.

I USED CHANGE SOURCE AND UPDATE VALUES WHILE GOING TO THE ACTUAL FILE ON THE DROP-DOWN LIST AND FINALLY TOOK. I HAD TO SAVE AND REPEATE PROCESS 3 TIMES.

Did you look in Tools/Options/Edit and see if the update links box is checked?

Yes - I've spent a few hours on this forum and the internet researching and I've done a lot even went under the advanced tab and security tab and its open to accept all links, etc....

Is this workbook update via VBA?... I ask, because the source (S:/Jason) maybe written in the VBA code so it will always use that as the source.

No, I stayed away from VBA on this one. I have to keep remembering that Excel is finicky sometimes.....I literally had to change the source and update values a few times before it wanted to save the location change. That's why I originally asked how to change the location because I thought I was doing it wrong. Thanks for your help though.
