    excel formula does not work

    Please see the attachment of Excel sheet. I need help with formula. If you click on AB17 you will see the current formula which is working for T20, V20, X20, Z20 and AB2 expect R20. This formula doesn't work on R20 line. Please help me.

    cell AB17 has

    =COUNTIF(BG21:BG357, "2 or more")

    T20, V20, X20, Z20 have text.

    AB2 does not really exist, since row 2 is merged.

    Your explanation does not match with the file. Please explain.

    The problem is that the formula doesn't work on R20 line.

    Which formula? In which cell?

    R20 has the text "Hp"

    Please remember that we don't know your workbook as well as you do. You will need to explain a bit more and point out what the problem is.
