    Generate summary from 2 data entry database

    Hi I am new here.

    I have 2 database A and B and i would like to generate a summary from that. A is a variable of B. The idea is whenever I add a new entry to B then the summary page will add a column of new data.

    Any idea how to do this? Thanks alot....

    ok because due to some reasons the same data in database entry is not meant to be organized, therefore I have to match the entry in a column first then lookup for the value in the same row and return the value beside it. The formula I can think is

    =INDEX(A10:G14,MATCH("B1",A10:A14,0),MATCH("m",A10:G10,0)+1)

    in order to return the value beside "m" of "B1".

    however the highlighted range should be a variable so that I can use this formula for all other column without changing the range one by one.

    Anyone has better idea? thanks
