    Extract names of folders

Using Excel 2003; I have to find all the folders on our net that have not been accessed in last year. Windows has a search for folders and a advanced search that lets pick dates and weather it was modified or accessed. That will put all the folders in my Windows Explorer. If I do a search for all folders on the network drive I should get back all folders, what I need to do is figure out how to get the names of those folders into excel....

Then I do another search for all folders that have been accessed in last year, I extract those names into excel. Put the two side by side, highlight the range, insert a duplicate formula and anything not a duplicate should be a folder that has not been accessed and those are the folders that I should delete, but I won't actually delete them I think I will move them to Big, Big external hard drive and wait and see who is effected if nothing happens then delete them..... but the question here is:

How do I get the names of the folders into Excel? or if someone has better idea of how to do what I was tasked with other wise I am going to have to go folder by folder and there are thousands of them.

Thanks, I am working with it now having a few problems I might have to post the code. It wants to run, but it is not giving me a chance to choose the folder I want it to run on. I am guessing that the process should be that I run the macro and then the macro opens a window for me to choose file and waits for input.... that is what I am not getting. It tries to put all the column headings in but there is no file for it to operate on so I have column heading with no data.
