Colour x cells below it if data present

    Hi,
I`m trying to work out how to have a the cell directly below a cell with data in it coloured and also a certain number of cells below.
So if there is something in B2, I want B2-B3 coloured, if there is something in E20, E21-26 need to be coloured.
The cells already have some conditional formatting on them for something else that cant be changed either, and needs to over-ride this. So if in the second example E23 has data, that cell cant be coloured but the 5 cells below that will be etc.
The number of cells to vertically be coloured will range from 1 to ~60

Have attached image of example, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I have attached a file I was going to test it out with. Not much in there really though.

    Hello bullchicken,

How do you decide how many cells down will be colored?

    Hi Leith,
The numbers at the top (Row 2) signify how many cells

    Hello bullchicken,

If it had been a snake, it would have bit me.
