Can I populate a combox with data using one of the properties

I have a worksheek with a userform that contains a combo box. I want the combo box to offer three choices (text). I am then taking that value and posting it to a cell on another sheet. That simple. Is it possible to populate the combo box with the three choices using one of the properties of the combo box or do I have to relate it to a range on a sheet? If so, how do I point to a range on a sheet when the combo box is on a userform?
