To send email from Excel avoiding outlook

    Hi,

This is Mathi from India; I need some desperate/URGENT help /coding on macros.

The attached sheet has some macros.

I would like to give a small brief of what it does and what we intend to do.

    1. The attached (copy of salary.xls) is the master which contains salary break-up details of all the employees.

    2. This master file has two sheets sheet 1 (employee salary break-up details) and sheet 2 (employee email ids)

    3. When the macro runs it matches the sheet1 and sheet2 for names and sends email as per the id in sheet2.

    4. When an employee receives the file it contains only his data and also it is password protected based on date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy); 02/05/1973 … password; (Attached: salary details salary.xls….)

Now, all the above runs fine but we would like to add the following to it where we fail:

    1. Is there any way to avoid the Ms-outlook screen, such that we can work in front-end and in the back-end the messages/e-mails keep going? Because for every record we need to keep giving “yes”. Wondering if there is any way to send in batches. We have around 3000 employees giving “yes” for each record does not sound user friendly. Any coding!!

    2. We would like to add some text to the body of the e-mail along with the attachment (salary details salary.xls…).

    Example:

    “ Hi,

Pls find attached Salary break-up details for the month of …….

    Regards,
    HR-Dept”

    3. In case it is not possible with the existing code, can you pls modify it based on the above specs.

Advance thanks for your time and help.

    Regards,
    Mathi
