Rate Code Setup Userform: How to Prevent overlapping dates

    Hi,

I'm working on a userform where I want to have a userform
where you can setup ratecodes (pricelist) with certain dates.

The challenge is, is that I want to prevent overlapping dates
in that list, so that the date list is nicely listed without
    date gaps or overlapping dates.

I added the xls a an example.

    Thanks

Let me make sure I understand what you mean. On row 12 of the sheet RateDB, the rates are for the 26th to 27th April. You want to prevent anybody posting rates in that date range (and in any date range already recorded)?

    Hi Mojo,

    Thanks for looking at this.

Ideally the dates should be set-up by the userform
where the user can change or add dates.

The dates should be always lining up eg

    Start End
    01/01/2010 – 05/01/2010
    05/01/2010 – 10/01/2010
    10/01/2010 – 15/02/2010

The end date in the 1st row should be the same as start date the next row.
And may overlap dates in the other rows eg:

    Start End
    01/01/2010 – 11/01/2010
    05/01/2010 – 10/01/2010
    10/01/2010 – 15/02/2010
    - With this example it should clear out the entire row 2 and change start date in row 3 to 11/01/2010

    Is this possible?
