Opening file with links and macro

I want to open up a file, copy the data and then close the file without any intervention. The file has links. I can open, copy, paste and close, but always have to say "continue" because lilnks dialog box comes up when file is open. Is there a way to have the macro state "contninue" so the procedure can just run without me babysitting?
