Excel VBA References used in IE

Hi all,

I have an application that needs to be developed that uses Excel VBA Reference to get data from 3rd party application server and send it to Internet Explorer using automation techniques.

That, I know can be done and will not have a problem figuring out all the intricacies involved with getting that setup. What I need to know is if there is a way to use the Excel References in Internet Explorer using VBScript directly. I don't want to have to use Excel to do all the "grunt work" plus the delay to obtain and transport the data, although minor, is still very important that it be as small as possible.

I have searched Google for days and the IE forums I've looked at from searching don't seem to be on the technical level I need to get an answer from. I thought that maybe someone here would have an answer...

Hello pqmercer,

Welcome to the Forum!

If your posts at the other sites were lacking in specifics about what you need to accomplish then I am not at all suprised your searches were not fruitful.

So we can propose solutions that fit your needs, you should post your workbook. Seeing the layout, formatting, formulae, and VBA code, keeps everyone on the same page. This will provide you with faster and more accurate results.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

Remember To Do the Following....

1. Use code tags. Place
before the first line of code and
after the last line of code.
2. Thank those who have helped you by clicking the Star below the post.
3. Please mark your post [SOLVED] if it has been answered satisfactorily.
