I am new to this forum and VERY new to Excel VBA, macros, programming, etc.
I am trying to create a worksheet that generates a report upon the press of a button. It needs to enter the information in a row based on the value of another cell in that row (i.e. If I place an "X" in cell in H5 on sheet1 then I need the information in cells A5, B5, D5, E5 &G5 from sheet1 entered into sheet2. This goes on for another 180 rows and if there is no X, then it needs to skip to the next row and so on. I would like to enter all info on sheet 1, then hit the button on the bottom of each column with the X's and have it generate a report on a different sheet for each column (column H, button1, info on sheet 2; column I, button 2, info on sheet 3...).
Does any of this make sense? I need some serious help and have attached a sample workbook. I have yet to create the templates for Columns I-N on sheet1 so if you could just help me create one report for column H on sheet 1. Any help would be appreciated because I am getting extremely frustrated trying to enter formula after formula!!! I decided to start all over and try out this forum insteadI tried entering tags but it keeps saying that they are too long (more than 25 characters).....so I guess I could use some help with this too :/
