    Unhappy macro to sum all element in array and output it in one cell of excel.

    suppose i have an array, like below:
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    All I want to do is to sum each of the value in the array and output them in a cell of excel.
    I do it like this

    but it is showing error. saying that object required.
    What should I do?

    Hello mithil,

    The Sum function only works with numbers, not strings. You must invoke the WorksheetFunction to use Sum in the VBA environment. If you want to reference the cell on the ActiveSheet remove the period before Cells
